The B. Braun Introcan Introcan Suture is designed for use with one hand and therefore has no wings. Introcan sutures carry a waterproof air vent filter, a clear chamber for immediate blood flow observation and a double-ended tip for painless and deformable insertion.

B. Braun Introcan Introcan retains its elasticity and shape without crashing upon insertion, while the driver has three levels of sanding and the tip of the needle is tapering smoothly, making it easy to place without injuring the patient. The high biochemistry of the venous catheter provides increased protection for the peripheral venous system and allows for long stays in the patient, minimizing the chance of complications due to thrombophlebitis and local infections. It also has a transparent chamber for easy visual confirmation of venipuncture.
